This workshop is ideal for those that need to take their desktop printing skills further, whether you are seeking to improve your portfolio, document your work or output high quality digital prints. The course will provide invaluable advice by explaining the variables of digital printing; cameras, scanning, preparation of artwork, colour calibration, ICC Profiles, resolution, Photoshop curves, histograms and unsharpening. This will lead onto covering the choice of RIP profiles, archival inks and papers. Each attendee should bring an image to the workshop; to create a high resolution pigment print (giclee) from our A3 Epson Stylus 2100 onto Hahnemuh. Each student has their own workstation for the practical parts of the course and can discuss any specific areas of interest they may have towards the end of the day with the tutor.
