Channel 5.2 would like to invite you to the LaunchLab opening event on 2nd May 6 – 8.30pm at Space, to be opened by Meg Hillier MP.

LaunchLab.org.uk is a new user-generated creative employment website. It results from Channel 5.2, a creative industries training programme delivered by Space and The Community College, Hackney. Created and produced by Channel 5.2 course members and facilitated by professionals in web design, branding and marketing LaunchLab aims to diversify entry into creative sector employment focusing on media technology.

About Channel 5.2:

Channel 5.2 is a new programme focusing on the development and production of a creative sector employment and advice network for London.

Participants in the project receive a flexible package of training based on each participant's individual needs including 1:1 advice sessions, accredited Interactive Media training and opportunities to work with a team led by creative sector professionals.

Participants gain experience in branding, marketing, event management, design, administration, and project management, as well as work experience placements. This programme commenced in May 2006 and runs throughout 2006-07.
