Our Media Lab has comprehensive facilities for video editing, compositing, still image manipulation and design, using Final Cut Pro 4.5HD as well as other applications used in commercial environments. The lab houses a Umax Professional A3 flatbed scanner and Nikon 35mm film scanners, renowned for giving exceptionally high-quality results, produce greater tonal ranges and higher resolutions than most domestically available equipment, along with scratch and dust removal facilities.

We can facilitate editing, animation, video painting, colour correction, DVD mastering, BetaSP / DVCAM / DV / HDV / SVHS formats for video capture and transfers, CD-ROM and web video compression as well as a Cinewave suite for uncompressed video capture and real-time colour correction. We also offer superior-grade inkjet printing to A3+ size for the cost of a colour photocopy and a wide variety of digital design and imaging software.

Rates

£60 per day / £35 per half day (excluding the Beta suite which is £50 per day and £30 per half day.
Technical surgeries and 1:1 assistance at £75 per hour.

Opening Times

Wed - Friday only. A day’s session is from 10.30am-4.30pm, and a half-day session is either from 10.30am-1pm, or from 2pm-4.30pm.

CANCELLATION POLICY
We require 24 hours notice (before 10.30am the day prior to your booking) of a cancellation: otherwise you will be liable to pay for the time booked.
